Story of Kovu : Effect of Human Activities on Wildlife
A downloadable game for Android
This is an AR project that focuses on narrative about Kovu, a tiger cub who's trying to uncover the truth behind his family's death. This project also was made to create an awareness about human activities and its effect on wildlife.
The medium for this AR project is a game board with image markers and AR scanning application. This game board was inspired by snakes and ladders game board as the base of the game. The players then will compete to reach the end while uncovering the story of Kovu's family

How to play the Game?
1. Have a snakes and ladders game board, preferably the one designed for the game. (The one showcased below)
2. Choose your pawn pieces and decide the turn of playing.
3. Throw the dice and play the board game following snakes and ladders game rules.
4. Once you reach the numbers written on the board, take an image with the matching number and scan the picture using the application.
5. A short animation will appear showing what happened to Kovu's family member.
6. Continue doing all the steps above until the end of the game and uncover the whole story of Kovu's family.
Additional rule :
If the player skipped some of the numbers while playing and already reached the end, players are permissible to scan the image without having to play it again.
